Excerpts from "The Land"...
A Poem by Nayan
Doesn't a person ever feel a sense of gratitude and love for the place that gave him(her) his(her) identity?
--> A Poem by Nayan

The Land –
That gave shelter to a creation!
That gave meaning to a life!
That gave stick to a blind!
And that gave wings to a bird!
This is the Land before which I bow!
...
-->
Flight of Hope!
Buddha of Patience!
Ocean of Greatness!
Sky of Affection!
All is seen in you, Oh Land!
Unknown and unseen, yet recognised and loved!
Harming something, yet given a place in the heart!
Saving a life from being wandered and lost!
Nurtured, cared, and given opportunities of gold!
Alas! This life could not be born on this Land!
...
-->
Pearls of Wisdom!
Prophets of Peace!
Where else can one get
Tranquility with ease?
The Land which was not known before,
The Land which was not seen,
I lift its dust and place on my forehead!
Worshiping the Land is what all I mean!
