The construction race threatens to eat all open space
They
are eating our Sky!
With
bricks and broken rocks,
stolen
and chiseled stone chips,
they
build these caves unnatural,
that
rise high and block our blue sky!
They
uproot the green beings of grace,
mercilessly
dig the ground under,
and
destroy our mountains
with
shameless arrogance!
They
then drill holes into our mother’s womb
and
suck out her life giving nectar,
and
trade her gifts priceless
for
the mirage of monetary solace!
They
create beasts of iron,
that
act and abuse on their finger tips,
and
gobble up our vitalities (water, air and land),
and
rob all our lives of their souls!
With
their ever-hungry utilitarian stares,
they
rip the backbones from our bodies,
and
create monuments of pride,
devoid
of life and its natural colours!
They
suffocate themselves and us all around
with
their self-made poisoned concretes,
and
with brain dead avarice, these idiots
go further
high rise, and eat our sky!
