Ubuntu

Ubuntu

A Poem by Nayan
"

Song of hope and belief against the darkness of hopelessness and disbelief. Single twine that reignites the passion to move on against the backdrop of falling mankind. Which calls for humanity!

"

“Ubuntu” (means humanity and mankind)

He runs and He runs…
Devoid of the light of the Sun
With darkened sight and tearful eyes…
He runs to see his life’s daylight!

Road to the future, is
Damaged and damned!
He still runs loaded, with -
The Corpse of Mankind!

Glaze of the destined knife -
Blinds the eyes of his life!
It comes to sever the supportive rope -
And so shivers his tethered hope!

When the white turns dark -
Faint little shine, trembles behind the ark!
The veiled visions clack -
The face so familiar turns black!

Alone he stands,
Alone he runs…
But longs for the resurrection -
Of the moons and the suns!

Modelled on goodness,
And moulded with hope,
He looks for that Silver -
In the gold that were sold!

As he runs, and runs -
His heart, with pain, burns!
Calls his belief, do not leave…
What if he turns? - fears and weeps!

With looming disbelief,
He cries to the sky!
And curses for his grief -
To the One who lives so high!

And then, he hears -
The smile of a child!
Who just now, from ants,
Saved, a beautiful butterfly!

He, thus touched, sheds his tears,
Calls Humanity, for a thousand years -
Belief back! In life’s possibilities prime!
He runs, he runs " Through the Sands of Time!

Why didn't you ask me?

Why didn't you ask me?

A Poem by Nayan

Why didn’t you ask me?

You left me -
When I needed you the most.
You saw my anger,
But didn’t see the pain!
Why didn’t you ask me -
Why I was angry?

You decided in a flash -
When I needed a second chance.
You felt my screams,
But didn’t feel my tears!
Why didn’t you ask me -
Why I was different?

You broke the friendship -
When I wanted you to help.
You rejected my life,
But didn’t touch my love!
Why didn’t you ask me -
Why I was miserable?

You bid me bye -
When I was broken.
You looked from the top,
But didn’t peep inside!
Why didn’t you ask me -
What I was hiding?

Come Back!

Come Back!

A Poem by Nayan

Come Back!

Come back!
Come back my friend!
And talk to me,
Help me put myself together.
Come back my partner!
And be with me,
That I can again walk.
Come back my life!
That I can be the myself you loved.
Come back!
Come back my love!

Come back!
Come back my friend!
And give a chance,
That I can grow back.
Come back my guide!
And show again the path,
That I can get back.
Come back my soul!
That I can again live.
Come back!
Come back my love!

Come back!
Come back my shade!
Protect from the burning sun,
That I can re-blossom.
Come back my strength!
And support me,
Help me again stand.
Come back my wings!
That I can again fly.
Come back!
Come back my love!

Come back!
Come back my relief!
And comfort me,
That I can again feel peace.
Come back my music!
And sing with me,
That I can again twine.
Come back my angel!
And give back my fairy tale.
Come back!
Come back my love!
