Life gave enormous chance
To me to pause and get past,
What was an endless haste,
But to me, all I wanted it to last!
My life's boat swam aghast,
Seemed all, such a power cast,
Winds pushing at the mind's mast
Oh! how I lost my mental chaste!
I swiveled left and I swiveled right,
In search of that missing height,
That it dazzled me day and night,
All I got was a laughing plight!
Dreamy had my vision become,
That I wandered so away from home,
Sans sense, listened to all random,
And acted I in clouded epitome!
Wonder what end it hit,
That I lacked my moment to sit,
And I happily bit
What they gave me to eat!
